Our program combines safety, creativity, community, fitness, learning, and good clean fun!

LEAD COUNSELOR (age 21+)

FULL TIME /PART TIME

Looking for qualified camp counselors for our All Day Summer Camp! Hours can be flexible. Pay is based on experience. Apply by clicking the APPLY NOW link below.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee all counseling staff during scheduled shifts.
Communicate with upper management regarding day to day operation and staff.
Perform administrative tasks assigned by management as needed
Plan and oversee camper activities
Guide and teach a range of outdoor activities (hiking, swimming, sports, etc.)
Ensure camper safety and monitor their activities
Set up and ensure recreation equipment is secure and stored properly
Supervise campers during meals
Instruct campers in daily routines and cleanup tasks
Follow safety and emergency procedures and guidelines
Work one-on-one with campers
Instruct and organize camper projects (arts and crafts, dramatics, etc.)

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

High school degree or equivalent
First aid and CPR training and certification required
2+ years previous experience as a counselor-in-training, teacher, childcare, or related field is preferred.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
Encouraging and patient with campers.
Ability to serve as a positive role model and mentor
Comfortable in a team leader role
Creative and innovative thinker and planner
Strict adherence to camp policies

CAMP COUNSELOR (age 18+)

FULL TIME /PART TIME

Assist in the oversight of a group of campers and attend to their needs and report behavior problems to a Camp Counselor/Head Counselor.
Assist in organizing, collecting, and transporting necessary supplies.
Assist in organizing and supervising crafts, games, sports, and other camp activities.
Assist in the clean-up of all activities
Notify the Camp Counselor/Head Counselor of any problems that arise within your camp group in a timely manner.
Assist in the enforcement of established rules to ensure safety of campers and staff.
Attend and contribute to staff meetings and required trainings.
Adhere to established schedules and work assignments.

EXPECTATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

Act in a positive and professional manner with campers, parents, and peers.
Commit to building a safe, child-focused community.
Take initiative to analyze and solve problems, ideally before they happen!
Be flexible and ready to meet changing work needs and demands.
Be open to feedback and desire to grow professionally.
No experience necessary (but is preferred)
CPR (information on training will be provided)

CAMP VOLUNTEER (AGES 11+) NON-PAID POSITION

FULL TIME /PART TIME

CDL BUS DRIVER (Part-time)

Responsibilities

Responsible for driving the super summer camp bus and passengers to and from field trips as scheduled.
Responsible for seeing that the bus is kept clean after each day.
Responsible for seeing that the bus is filled with gas and ready each day for field trips.
Check oil, water, and transmission fluid weekly.
Aware of things that may need to be fixed communicating this to the Camp Director.
Take on other responsibilities as directed by the Camp Director.

Qualifications

At least 21 years of age with a good driving record and a valid CDL license.

Experience working with children (preferred)
