Prestige Youth Programs is a separate entity in collaboration with Bendforf Elementary School. Performance Club is an after school activity where students will build on the fundamentals of performance with an emphasis on choral performance.  Performance Club is another opportunity for students to build relationships, practice responsibility, self expression, as well as collaboration. All school rules and policies still apply. Our goal is that everyone will have a fun and safe time while also working hard towards putting on a fantastic performance! 

Music and movement has been shown to aid students in the areas of socio emotional development as well as academic growth. In the Performance Club…

Students will have the opportunity to learn a variety of songs in different genres, from music of today to Broadway, and more.  Students will also gain skill in the fundamentals of reading music notation as well as vocal performance. 

As a part of the club, students will also learn movement and acting. Students will learn a variety of different styles, including hip-hop, jazz, and musical theatre. Students will also have the opportunity to create dance movements. Students will develop skills in creativity, self expression and also memorization through movement as well as acting.
